Sustainability and responsibility are key words in the company philosophy of Plant Planet. Plant Planet is the only horticultural producer in the world that has a unique collaboration with IUCN, The World Conservation Union, well known as author of the red list of endangered species. Jointly a project is launched where the critically endangered Brighamia insignis is cultivated in greenhouses in Holland and sold to the market as the Hawaiian palm. The majority of the earnings is used for financing rescue programs for these plants on Hawaii.

Every year new plants from the research program are introduced to the market, rare, funny, dramatic or just “wow”, all plants have something special and unique.
